VINTAGE STROH'S BEER SIGN photo picture print for sale. This is a professionally restored 1950's OLD VINTAGE DETROIT STROHS BEER advertising sign photo picture print for sale. This was a quite rare 1950's cardboard foldout standup Stroh's Beer sign that was in quite poor condition that has been artistically restored by artist/photographer Jan Kaulins. It is part of his 'vintage Detroit Icons' series. It is a wonderful graphic illustration of the original illustrator artists silkscreen interpretation of the 'Fire-Brewing process' unique to Stroh's Beer. In the bottom right corner in small letters you can make out 'Detroit 26, Mich' which was an earlier era prior to zip codes attesting to the vintage nature of this vintage Stroh's advertising sign. Fold out cardboard signs like this were usually displayed at bars where Stroh's Beer was sold. They were given to the bar owners to promote their Stroh's Beer and were not sold to the public, making them quite unique and rare pieces of Detroit brewing history. It's even a more timely image since Stroh's Beer is once again being brewed in Detroit where it has not been brewed since the Detroit Stroh's Brewery was closed over 30 years ago. This will make a wonderful display piece for your bar or rec room.
