HOCKEYTOWN BUS - DETROIT RED WINGS 2002 STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS VICTORY PARADE - DETROIT, MICHIGAN picture photo: This picture is made from an original black and white photograph that has been hand-colored. In this historic Detroit Red Wings photograph we see The Hockeytown Bus during the 2002 Detroit Red Wings Stanley Cup Championship victory parade down Woodward Avenue in Detroit Michigan. In this festive photograph we can the Hockeytown bus loaded with Red Wings fans as well as the steets mobbed with over 1,000,000 fans who turned out for the downtown Detroit victory parade and celebration. In this photo we also see pictured The Detroit Fox Theatre with the marquee celebrating the 2002 Detroit Red Wings Stanley Cup Championship, the 3rd Stanley Cup championship in six seasons. This was the final parade for Coach Scotty Bowman as he retired after this winning season, going into the record books one of the greatest hockey coaches of all time.
