In this Ann Arbor State Street picture photograph we see the large marquee of this downtown Ann Arbor/ University of Michigan landmark. The Ann Arbor State Theatre, located on State Street, has been showing films for several generations of students and Ann Arborites. The marquee in the photo of The Ann Arbor State theatre touts the Ann Arbor Summer Art Fair and Festival. In the background in this picture is historic Burton Tower, which hosts the bell tower Carillon whose huge ringing bells can be heard all over campus and downtown Ann Arbor.
