MICHIGAN STADIUM DEDICATION GAME, Oct. 22, 1927 photo picture art print for sale. The new MICHIGAN STADIUM in ANN ARBOR opened for the 1st game on Oct. 1, 1927. This historic and rare photo of the game on Oct. 22, 1927 was taken a couple of weeks later when Michigan Stadium was officially dedicated. At this game, before a record crowd (at that time) of 84,401 fans, Michigan defeated Ohio State 21-0. The prints offered here are made from a professionally restored image of the Original photo. Note the helmets and uniforms.

The quality of the Jan Kaulins' photographic prints is much higher than we can show within limits of this web site. Slight tonal changes and blurring around the areas of strong contrast are a result of the JPEG compression process, and are not part of the high quality originals.
