Pontiac Silverdome 1975 - 2001 picture photo - DETROIT LIONS Pontiac Silverdome photo picture photograph for sale: This color picture of Pontiac Silverdome, home of the Detroit Lions from 1975 to 2001, was made from an original black and white photograph that was hand-colored. This historic photograph is a wide angle picture taken at a sold out Detroit Lions game. The photo shows a Pontiac Silverdome Stadium football field Detroit Lions game in progress. The stands are packed to the rafters with Detroit Lions fans. The Pontiac Silverdome ended its twenty six year run as home to The Detroit Lions when the Lions moved back to downtown Detroit in the newly constructed Detroit Ford Field Stadium.
