MICHIGAN CENTRAL STATION photo picture print art photography for sale. MICHIGAN CENTRAL STATION print photo art photography picture for sale. Michigan Central Depot Detroit photo print photography for sale. TITLE: MICHIGAN CENTRAL DEPOT W/FLOWERS. Michigan Central Depot Station Detroit photo art picture print photograph for sale: This Detroit Michigan Central Depot photo is an artistic fine-art color photo of an ORIGINAL HAND-COLORED BLACK AND WHITE photograph with an enhanced orange specked sky, which pictures the historic City of Detroit Michigan Central Train Station, Michigan Central Depot. This artistic Michigan Central Depot Station photo print was taken about 15 years ago before the tracks and passenger overhangs were removed.

In its day Detroit Michigan Central Depot was one of the grandest and largest train stations in the world. This Detroit Photo Gallery Michigan Central Train Depot photo print pictures the passenger loading area with the main monolith terminal in the background of the picture. Many immigrants got their first glimpse of The City of Detroit at this train depot, while many soldiers left for battle and foreign lands from here as well. This Detroit Michigan Central Depot Fine Art photograph is a picture taken from behind historic City of Detroit Michigan Central Train Station Depot. The tracks are now torn out and the passenger waiting area is gone. In its crumbling walls are many memories of another era in the history of Detroit. The future of Michigan Central Depot Train Station in The City of Detroit is still unclear, though there has been talk of the possibility of using it for the new City of Detroit Police Station. (You can see my other photographs of Detroit Michigan Central Depot in Gallery #1 and The Historic Detroit Photo Gallery on this website)

The quality of the Jan Kaulins' photographic prints is much higher than we can show within limits of this web site. Slight tonal changes and blurring around the areas of strong contrast are a result of the JPEG compression process, and are not part of the high quality originals.
