Vintage OLD UofM STADIUM 1946 AERIAL photo art print photograph for sale. This is a rare Historic Vintage Old University of Michigan Stadium 1946 Aerial photo art prints photographs for sale. This historic photo was taken on October 12, 1946 during the University of Michigan vs. Army football game. In it you can see the early version of the press box, which has gone through several incarnations since then. You can also see that Chrysler Arena has not yet been built and you can make out the names on the old factories that were still in operation on State St. in the distance. This is a wonderful very unique image recently obtained from a historical sports archive. The quality and detail of this 60 year old image is excellent, considering the original photo was taken just one year after the conclusion of World War II. It is offered here for the first time on this website printed in sepia tone by Jan Kaulins. It is made from the original vintage old black and white 1946 Michigan Stadium photo print.
