BARRY SANDERS MURAL photo picture art print for sale. BARRY SANDERS mural photo picture photograph for sale: This picture of the downtown Detroit Barry Sanders Detroit Lions mural is made from an original black and white hand-colored photo. This historic Detroit Lions Barry Sanders photo is a picture of the giant size Barry Sanders mural, with Barry Sanders in his Detroit Lions uniform bearing the #20 that he made so famous. In this Barry Sanders mural photography art print a larger-than-life-size Barry Sanders appears to be running through the streets of downtown Detroit. This 100 feet by 170 feet Barry Sanders mural graced the side of The Cadillac Towers skyscraper for many years, from 1995 to 2002, and was finally covered over and replaced by another Detroit sports icon mural--The Detroit Red Wings Steve Yzerman mural (which can be seen and is also available on this Detroit Photo Gallery website). This Barry Sanders mural photo is a rare Detroit Lions photograph of this most recent Detroit Lions Football Hall of Fame inductee. Not only is he one of the greatest running backs of all time, his gentlemanly conduct and true sportsmanship have made him a real hero to many youngsters who dream of playing professional football. His deciding not to rejoin The Detroit Lions for another year was controversial, but I say, "live long and prosper, Barry--we'll miss you." The quality of the Jan Kaulins' photographic prints is much higher than we can show within limits of this web site. Slight tonal changes and blurring around the areas of strong contrast are a result of the JPEG compression process, and are not part of the high quality originals.
