VANITY BALLROOM DETROIT photo picture art print for sale. This DETROIT VANITY BALLROOM photo wall art picture print for sale is a multiple exposure image made with 9 bracketed exposures. This gives this image the vibrant color and highlighted shading that can not be achieved with just one photographic exposure. THE DETROIT VANITY BALLROOM was designed by noted architect Charles Agree and built during the Art Deco era in 1929. It hosted most of the top BIG BANDS of that era and closed in 1958. It opened up for a while in 1964 but was abandoned where it still sits at Newport and Jefferson in downtown Detroit.

The quality of the Jan Kaulins' photographic prints is much higher than we can show within limits of this web site. Slight tonal changes and blurring around the areas of strong contrast are a result of the JPEG compression process, and are not part of the high quality originals.
