This historic color photo is MADE FROM AND ORIGINAL BLACK AND WHITE PHOTOGRAPH THAT HAS BEEN HAND-COLORED and printed by artist/photographer Jan Kaulins. It is of the 2nd Street view of the original Cass Tech High School structure. In the foreground you can see students and vehicles gathering outside as another school day ends. A new Cass Tech High School was built next door to this structure and it was torn down in 2011 leaving behind a rich Detroit history associated with it.
