OLD VINTAGE YPSILANTI WATER TOWER photo picture print photographs for sale. This vintage old YPSILANTI WATER TOWER photo picture print for sale shows this iconic Ypsilanti landmark on the edge of Michigan State Normal School (which is now Eastern Michigan University). We can see the rutted dirt road of Summit Street running along side of it long before it was paved. This is an over 100 year old photo image of this unusual structure.
This old vintage YPSILANTI WATER TOWER photo print for sale is a fine very early portrait from about 1900. The Ypsilanti Water Tower was built of Joliet Limestone, stands 147' tall, sits on the highest point of elevation in Ypsilanti and was built in 1890, about ten years prior to this historical photo being taken. It was designed by architect William R. Coats. At the very left edge of this photo we can make out what looks like a women walking briskly across the lawn wearing a vintage floor length dress with puffy sleeves and a white umbrella.
