OLD WOODWARD AVENUE DETROIT TRAFFIC TOWER photo picture wall art print for sale. This is a rare photo of one of the first TRAFFIC TOWERS in Detroit. This Traffic Tower is on Woodward Ave at corner of Michigan Avenue. It's a wonderful scene of a bustling downtown Detroit with streetcars and Model T's and old trucks on the brick paved streets. In center of photo is The Majestic Building. This is a wonderful photo which also shows the nicely dressed crowds on the sidewalks to streets. Traffic Towers were used to regulate traffic before the installation of the city traffic lights.

The quality of the Jan Kaulins' photographic prints is much higher than we can show within limits of this web site. Slight tonal changes and blurring around the areas of strong contrast are a result of the JPEG compression process, and are not part of the high quality originals.
